Digitron Media was created in August 1998, in Las Vegas Nevada by Bill Byrd, sales manager of Ad-Art Electronic Sign Company.
It was during this time that the Casino Industry started converting their static Reader Boards to Electronic L.E.D. technology. After manufacturing and installing displays on the Las Vegas strip, Ad Art provided a programming service to the Casinos to operate the L.E.D. screens. The Casinos provided access to their Ultra-Sophisticated retail tracking systems, to measure the effectiveness of advertisements on the screens. The learning experience of how to get some ones attention, create an impact, and get a result in 5 seconds was unparalleled in the Retail Industry. The constantly changing display screen proved to be an amazing Retail Marketing Tool in an extremely competitive market.
Digitron was created to take this information technology to Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Today, Digitron Media Inc. located in the Historic Gold Rush town of Sutter Creek, CA., operating electronic displays in San Leandro, Santa Clara, and Vacaville. Equipped with high speed T-1 phone lines, direct Internet services, satellite communications and the most experienced graphic artist staff the industry has to offer.
